In this drawing-focused installation, Ostrovskaya explores Vienna as a city layered with histories, where past and present coexist like overlapping epochs. Birds, butterflies, and plants act as liminal beings that move between these layers, while museum effigies and archival city views form the visual foundations of the work. Ruins, creatures, and memories coexist in a fragile continuity, revealing Vienna — much like Saint Petersburg — as a place where identities and eras echo through one another.
